Plain-language explainer
What a DRP body shop is, and why it can work in your favor
DRP stands for Direct Repair Program. It is an agreement between a body shop and an insurance company so claims can move faster. Best Deal is a preferred repair partner for the insurers we work with.
What the agreement covers
A DRP or preferred-shop agreement sets how the shop and the insurer work together: how estimates and photos are shared, how supplements are submitted, how fast the work moves and how customers are kept informed. For you, it usually means less back and forth and a faster approval.
Why it helps you
The insurer already knows the shop, so many estimates are approved without waiting for an adjuster to drive out. Supplements for hidden damage go straight to the same claims team. We handle that conversation so you do not have to.
What it does not change
You still choose the shop. Your coverage, your deductible and your right to a proper repair stay the same. Every repair we do is held to the same standard, with parts labeled OEM, recycled or aftermarket on the estimate, and a written warranty.
How to use us
Open your claim, tell the rep you are going to Best Deal Auto Body Shop in Glendale, and send us photos for a written estimate. We take it from there. If your insurer's shop list does not show us, ask for us by name; the claim is paid the same.
Your rights in Arizona
- You choose the shopIn Arizona the insurer can recommend a repair facility; it cannot require one or refuse to pay a covered claim because you went elsewhere.
- You're owed a proper repairThe policy pays to restore the car to pre-loss condition. Which parts and procedures that means is decided by the repair plan and the estimate, not by which shop is cheaper for the insurer.
- You can see the numbersAsk any shop for the itemized estimate and the supplement. Ask the insurer for the adjuster's estimate. They should match the car, not each other.
- Your deductible is the same anywhereGoing to a non-network shop does not raise your deductible. What changes is who advocates for you when the first number is low.

Is a DRP shop a bad shop?
No. A DRP shop works directly with insurers, which is why claims move faster. What matters is that the shop writes the estimate the car needs and puts the warranty in writing. We do both.
How do I know if a shop is in my insurer's program?
Ask the shop and ask the insurer. Insurers can tell you which shops are in their program, and you can call us to confirm our status for your insurer.
Is Best Deal a DRP shop?
Yes. We are a preferred repair partner of the insurers on our Insurance Partners page, and we accept every insurance company.
Do I have to use a DRP shop?
No. You choose your shop. We would be glad to be your choice, and the claim is paid the same wherever you go.
